The Invitations: Plein Air

Plein Air - A quiet invitation to wander, create, and be with God outdoors.

A journal. A pencil.

A touch of color.

Something warm to drink.

Bring an open heart and

a willingness to notice.

Together, we step outside and make room

for God’s presence.

How We Gather

Plein Air gathers in person once each season

in a small, welcoming group.

Each intimate session offers time to

pause, wander, create, and reflect.

Join us for all four gatherings

and let renewal unfold gently through

the year.

An at-home guide is also available,

so you can experience Plein Air

wherever you are.

We begin in stillness, then wander—

not toward a destination, but with God.
Notice what draws your eye: light,

a leaf, a shadow.

There is no right thing to see—only an invitation to pay attention.

Here, looking becomes prayer.

With a journal and a touch of color,

respond to what you notice.
No art experience needed.

Nothing to get right.

Later, we gather for The Gentle Whisper—

a little scripture, quiet, and time to listen.

Before we part, we share one last exhale.

Nothing to accomplish.

Nowhere to rush.

Just space to be still.

Come As You Are

Nothing to prepare.

No art experience needed.

Come dressed for the outdoors; everything else is provided.
